芝加哥除了Chicago Style Hot Dog外
另一個絕對比Hot Dog還有名的就是Chicago Style Pizza
又稱為Deep dish pizza
根據 Wikipedia所寫的
Chicago-style pizza is a deep-dish pizza style developed in Chicago. The Chicago-style "deep-dish" pizza was invented at Pizzeria Uno, in Chicago, in 1943, reportedly by Uno's founder Ike Sewell, a former University of Texas football star. Pizzeria Uno而我們很湊巧地經過這家店,然後很刻意地挑了非用餐時間去
也讓我們差點要小排隊了一下.........^^但還是吃到了!

這就是芝加哥式(Chicago Style)的Pizza - Deep Dish Pizza,可以看到旁邊厚厚像是派皮的造型,我覺得它根本就是Pizza跟派的綜合體。這是Cheese & Tomato的口味,是小的。一個人要吃得很撐才可以吃完!

這個是這家店的招牌Pizza- Numero Uno。基本上它的基底跟Cheese&Tomato是一樣的,可是上面多了很多香菇、洋蔥、香腸等等,料比較豐富。
那個下午我們就擠在Pizzeria Uno那像是酒吧的店裡
邊喝著冰啤酒跟可樂,配著兩個deep dish pizza
外面稍微冷,不過裡面已經感受不到外面的溫度.....
Pizza非常美味,但是Pizza的尺寸嚇人
挑最小的size,我也才勉強吃完
看到隔壁桌三個人點了一個超大尺寸的
店員應該已經很習慣將Pizza打包的動作!
